What the Warrior is

XLGAMES published a full Warrior profile on 10 July 2026. It names two weapon paths, ten skills, and the god every Warrior is said to inherit from. This page is written from that article, read at the source.

The studio’s own framing: “The Warrior stands their ground at the front line where steel meets steel. They thwart strike upon strike while waiting for a prime opening. Their skill in combat is both ruthless and restrained, boldly anticipating the next attack.”

The loop it describes is defensive-into-offensive: “By deflecting oncoming attacks, they effectively shatter the enemy’s weakness to wrest the flow of battle. Once opportunity strikes, the Warrior hones in their full strength into one fatal blow.”

The documented account

Source-backed accountLimits remain explicit
The Longsword path — mark, counter, dominate

The longsword splits again in two. One route “forges a master of timing and control”, turning defence into offence by parrying; the other is “the path of blood”, where “Warriors sacrifice a portion of their own health for a fatal edge, dealing damage and absorbing enemy HP in turn”.

Five skills are named. Parry: “Block with your blade at the exact moment of impact to deflect an enemy strike, exposing an opening for an immediate counterattack.” Closing Slash: drive the blade in, then twist to pull the enemy close. Whirlwind Slash: “Spin like a tempest to sweep through all surrounding enemies.” Bladeburst: a wave of energy that strikes distant foes. Crimson Surge: “Sacrifice your own blood to enhance consecutive slashes, draining and absorbing HP with each blow.”

The Greatsword path — endure, advance, destroy

The greatsword path is built on a resource the studio calls Resolve: Warriors “withstand attacks with Brace, then unleash Final Cleave to break through guards”, and “with enough built-up Resolve, Unbridled Might triggers immediately”.

Its five named skills: Leaping Strike, launching forward into the enemy line; Unbridled Might, which detonates accumulated power so the next attack “deals massive damage”; Final Cleave, brandished high and slammed down; Rampage, “two devastating attacks in succession”; and Warrior’s Cry, a roar that builds Resolve and overwhelms nearby enemies.

Context and limits

The legacy of Kyrios

The profile attaches the class to a god: “Every Warrior inherits the shadow of Kyrios, the God of Destruction.” Before his ascension, Kyrios was Jin Evernight, “a legendary Shadowhawk Twin Sword who fought alongside Tahyang” — the hero the Ranger inherits from.

That single paragraph ties the two published classes to the same story, and to the Shadowhawk name that also appears in the faction lore. See our pages on Kyrios and on Tahyang Kahlzit.

What is still unknown

No numbers: no cooldowns, no damage values, no resource costs, and no indication of how many skills a Warrior can equip at once. Whether the two longsword routes are separate specialisations or a single tree has not been stated.
