You cannot pick a class on numbers yet, because none have been published. What you can do is pick on the shape of the fantasy — and on that, the studio has said just enough for two of the four classes.
Four classes are named, two have published paths, and one ranking exists. What that is enough to decide, and what it is not, as of August 2026.
01What the studio has actually published
Four classes are named on the official focus group test infographic of 3 July 2026: Mage, Ranger, Warrior and Berserker. That graphic ranks them by popularity in that order, across 165 testers and 2,006 hours of play, in a build that reached level 16.
Two of them have a published structure. The Warrior chooses between longsword and greatsword, described by XLGAMES in July 2026 as “commanding the battle with perfectly tempered control” versus “breaking apart all defenses by sheer strength alone”. The Ranger chooses between longbow and hatchet — “unerring precision” against “a savage hunter wreathed in lightning”.

02What a popularity ranking is worth here
It is a first-impression ranking from a short test, not a balance statement. The three most used weapons of that same test — elemental staff, wavesword, longsword — do not line up neatly with the class ranking, which suggests the two graphs measure different things.
Reading the Mage’s first place as “the strongest class” would be an invention. Reading it as “the class most testers wanted to try first” is what the source supports.

03How to choose anyway
If you want a decision you will not have to unmake: pick on weapon feel, because that is the one axis the developers have described. Longsword and longbow are the control-and-precision options; greatsword and hatchet are the aggressive ones. The Mage has a staff and a video, and the Berserker has a name and nothing else.
The published Warrior and Ranger profiles give named skills, but no tested damage ranking or optimal rotation. Detailed Mage and Berserker profiles remain missing. This page is updated when those profiles are published.
