The Bluesalt Brotherhood is the faction XLGAMES has described most precisely so far: where it is based, what it trades, and the unusual rule that governs the name of its leader.
The official account introduced them on 12 February 2025: “Bluesalt Brotherhood – the powerhouse behind Auroria’s trade! From salt to saplings, they shape the region’s economy. Led by Livek, their mission is clear: control resources, dominate trade, and profit together.”
A week later, on 19 February 2025, the studio placed them on the map: they are “based in Seaglass Harbor of Diamond Shores, engaging in the production and trade of agricultural and forestry products in Auroria”.

Answering a player on the same day, the account explained the detail that makes the faction memorable: “When a new leader is elected for the Bluesalt Brotherhood, they give up their original name and take on the title Livek in honor of the Brotherhood’s first leader.”
A follow-up post of 19 March 2025 adds that Jonathan Vanderfell’s alias was Livek. Read together, the two posts say that the Livek of the present is not the Livek of the founding — a distinction worth keeping when quest text starts using the name.
Nothing has been published about what the Brotherhood does mechanically: whether players join factions at all, whether reputation exists, or whether the trade runs described in the developer diary are tied to this group. Treat the Brotherhood as lore until the studio says otherwise.
