What it is
Seaglass Harbor is the most documented place in the published lore, and the only one the studio has called a capital. Four separate posts have shown parts of it since October 2024.
The post of 16 January 2025 is the clearest statement: “The united harbor serving as the foothold for the exploration of Auroria. This harbor is home to the highest administrative body of Auroria, known as the ‘Settlers’ Council’, and serves as the capital city of the region.”
The Bluesalt Brotherhood is based there, in Diamond Shores, according to the post of 19 February 2025 — which is how the harbor, the region and the trading faction are tied together.

On 29 October 2024, the studio put its level designers forward: “Our level designers are diving into the stories of the NPCs who bring the ‘Seaglass Harbor’ to life. What traces of life will this coastal city reveal along its shining shores?”
On 11 December 2024, a post about the animals of Seaglass Harbor stated that in ArcheAge Chronicles “animals are not only companions—they are vital to the heart of the community”. It is a small detail, but it is one of the rare official statements about the texture of a settlement rather than its politics.
Whether Seaglass Harbor is the starting city, whether housing zones sit near it, and what services it offers have not been published. Its status as capital of the region is confirmed; its role for a new character is not.
