The leader of the Bluesalt Brotherhood
Livek is the only named character whose nature the studio has clarified twice, in answer to players. It matters because the name will appear across quest text, and it does not always designate the same person.
The introduction of the Brotherhood, on 12 February 2025, names its leader: “Led by Livek, their mission is clear: control resources, dominate trade, and profit together.” The faction is based in Seaglass Harbor and handles agricultural and forestry trade across Auroria.

Answering a player on 19 February 2025, the official account explained: “When a new leader is elected for the Bluesalt Brotherhood, they give up their original name and take on the title Livek in honor of the Brotherhood’s first leader.”
A month later, on 19 March 2025, it clarified a related point: “Jonathan Vanderfell’s alias was Livek, but it was not mentioned in the Blue Salt Origins.” Vanderfell is a name from the first ArcheAge, and the studio is being careful about what the old lore does and does not say.
Who the current Livek is, whether the character appears in the game as a questgiver, and what role the Brotherhood plays mechanically have not been published.
