What the team said
Everything published about guilds comes from a single source: the written answers XLGAMES gave Wccftech on 1 August 2025. This page is therefore reported, not confirmed — and it says what that source says, no more.
The framing is explicit: “Because Chronicles isn’t built around large-scale PvP or territorial conquest, guilds here aren’t about power struggles or political control—they’re about connection, collaboration, and shared progression.”
On features, the answer stays general: “Expect things like shared resources, group goals, guild achievements, and conveniences that make teaming up feel rewarding—but without the heavy obligations or politics that sometimes come with guild systems in more PvP-focused MMOs.”
Documented facts
The documented account
The same interview states the design goal that guilds are subordinate to: making the game feel “just as good solo as it does with a group”, with guilds meant “to enrich that experience—not to gate content or force players into social structures just to progress”.
The executive producer’s letter of 31 July 2025 points the same way from the other end: “the world is shared with others, but it’s more intimate. Smaller group sizes. Meaningful cooperation. Moments that feel personal, not chaotic or dominated by zergs.”
Guild size, ranks, guild-only content, and whether guilds own anything at all have not been published. The team said in August 2025 that specifics — “potential perks, sizes, and how they tie into activities like crafting, trade, or group content” — would come closer to launch, and as of the date on this page they have not.
